Lac de Taney (Lac de Tanay), Valais - a great place to make postcard photos of Switzerland

The lake of Taney (or Lake of Tanay, alternative spelling) is a typical postcard place of the Swiss Alps not so far from Lausanne (40min) or from Geneva (1h30) which you can reach after a 1h of hard walk in the mountain, with a strong slope. However, once arrived, you will have a very nice and peaceful view one one of the most beautiful place in the Alpes, with the mountains reflecting on the green water of the small lake. Its altitude is situated at 1’408m above the sea, or 1’100m above the Leman Lake (Geneva Lake). There are a few restaurants, bed and breakfast, chalet for rent (day or week) and a camping. An ideal place to spend a day or an afternoon, alone or with friends! This is a must do visit in your in the region!
