Walk in Zermatt, the village to see the Matterhorn

A walk in Zermatt is always a very nice moment to see the Matterhorn (Cervin) and get a nice feeling of what’s most beautiful in Switzerland! Can’t get enough of it, in any season! The city is amazing, and is free of any cars, making the walk in the streets very relaxing and quiet! We stayed at Hotel Europe in Zermatt, which is probably one of the best place in town to stay: modern, super design, recently renovated and great service! Definitely worth giving a try if you pass by them! Few photos below of the hotel!

We had a 2 days family break in the resort of Zermatt this summer, and we enjoyed it a lot. We took the Gornergrat train and then following day we went to see all the lakes in Sunnegga Paradise, with the Matterhorn reflection on the water.

Renaissance Spa Ressort Hotel in Phuket, Thailand - 50 photos with Canon 5D MKII

The Renaissance Spa Ressort Hotel in Phuket, located on Kao Beach

The Renaissance Spa Ressort hotel in Phuket is brand new, opened last year in 2010. The hotel is fantastic, and I guess is highly recommended for Honeymoons in Thailand! Most of the people there were couples recently married (especially Russian!). I can only recommend the hotel, and we must admit we also felt in love with the place. The design is really sleek, nice and warm. Room confort is top, breakfast on the morning is a new adventure every day (they also tried new receipt they make you try at your table!), with nice ambiant music all over the place. The restaurant was also serving very nice thai food, and the bar on the beach has a great ambiance with nice lightning and great cocktails. It’s right on the Mai Khao beach, which is very quiet, especially compared to the southern part of the Phuket island. You can also order Thai massage on the beach. Hotel staff is also super friendly, and since we both had our birthday falling one day after another, they offered us for free a cake (without telling the other one!) and even wrote a card for my wife! We only dream about coming back!

Panviman Chiang Mai Spa Resort - A beautiful 5 stars hotel in North of Thailand

The Panviman Chiang Mai Spa Resort is lovely, and will definitely not let you undifferent. Located few kilometers away from Chiang Mai, it’s a place to get fantastic rest. You can also enjoy the magnificient spa facilities, and touring the hotel resort will already be a nice 1-2h adventure as it’s really big! The hotel is located very close from the Masea Elephant School, and has lots of activities you can enjoy such as cooking class or spa massage.

The staff was exceptionally great, and we’ve even been invited to their year end party, which was really a fantastic moment for us: we had really good time, and we danced with them and enjoyed a few hot drinks all together! Probably one of the best moment from our 2 weeks trip in Thailand! Thanks for all! 

The place is also really nice for making beautiful portraits, thanks to the view and the nice epic swimming pool. Enjoy the view!

My wife had a business meeting in The Chedi Chiang Mai, so I followed her and make a few photos while she was discussing business! Very nice place, it’s truly Asian and European at the same time. Probably a really nice place to stay over in Chiang Mai if you want to pamper yourself!

Bangkok Renaissance Hotel - a true modern and design hotel

What a good idea we had to go to the Bangkok Renaissance Hotel Ratchaprasong. This is probably one of the most beautiful and modern design hotel we’ve been so far. Very recent (probably finished in 2009 or 2010), the hotel is very well located in Ratchaprasong area, very close to all the commercial malls. The interior design is simply outstanding, and the ambiance it gives is just marvealous. First time we went to Renaissance chain hotel, definitely not the last (we also went to the Renaissance Phuket hotel!). Definitely worth the 5 stars it proudly owns.

Fantastic Asian Modern Design from Lobby to Swimming Pool on the top floor

The interio design is very united and you can see evolution of the theme (small lotus flowers with bright colors) from the Lobby to the bar, to the restaurant, to the conference and reception rooms, to the stairs, the parking, the lift, in the rooms and finally up to the spa swimming pool and fitness on the last floor, which also offers you a dramatic view on Bangkok. I can only recommend you to go there if you visit Bangkok and Thailand, prices are fair for this type of top leading hotel, and your journey in Bangkok will be definitely having a different flavor! We liked it so much that we came back at the end of our trip in Thailand on the last 2 days and we will probably come back next time we visit Bangkok. The staff is super friendly, and you are treated with the upmost level that only Asian knows how to give to their customers. In few words, perfect place!
