Couple Portraits in the most famous places of Paris - a day of photography in the city of love

A weekend to make couple portraits in all the most popular place of Paris

My very good friend was on the point to get married, and he thought about making nice portraits of him and his fiancée (now his wife!) to print in A2 format and dress during the celebration dinner. I therefore took the TGV to Paris France and we spent a very nice weekend making portrait photography accross Paris and its most famous monuments: Eiffel Tower, Les Invalides, Montparnasse, Notre Dame, Jardin du Luxembourg, … Thanks to the model who were very photogenics!

Hope you enjoy these couple portraits in Paris! All shots were done with Canon EOS 5D MKII, Canon 16-35mm f2.8 L II USM and Canon 24-70mm f2.8 L USM. I’ve also used flash Canon Speedlite 580 EXII, which gives very natural render especially in those conditions. I’ve also made a few black and white edits to give some more depth to it.

Pour bien commencer 2009, voici une photo du Pont Neuf sur Paris. Voici un effet HDR spectaculaire pour renforcer le côté Hausmanien de Paris et bien faire ressortir le couché de soleil.DAns le fond on peut voir la Samaritaine, fermée en ce moment car ne répond plus aux règles de sécurité.

To start 2009, here is a spectacular HDR effect on the Pont Neuf (bridge) in Paris. I hope that you enjoy the Hausmanian architectural style of the buildings, and the sunset in Paris Downtown. On the backtround, you can find the Samaritaine, a pretty old mall which has been closed due to lack of safety compliance.

Crazy Eiffel Tower in Paris - HDR series

EN - For those of you who enjoyed the first HDR picture and Wallpapers I’ve posted of the Eiffel tower, here are a few more. If you want to know more about HDR and my own special workflow, with a single RAW exposure, then click on HDR tutorial with a simple RAW exposure. The following pictures have been shot in last September during a one day walk within Paris. I’m now posting the Eiffel tower, the rest of Paris will follow later. Don’t hesitate to come back! FR - A tout ceux qui ont aimé la première image HDR et les Wallpapers que j’ai posté de la Tour Eiffel, en HDR, voici quelques unes de plus.
